Merchants Bank Donates to ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.
(Bangor, PA) Merchants Bank awarded ProJeCt of Easton, Inc. with $2000 to support the Sizzle!® Literacy Day Camp Program. The Sizzle! Literacy Day Camp Program is designed to accelerate learning skills in children in Kindergarten through fourth grade.
Merchants Bank supports non-profit community for EITC approved programs. “Many worthy non-profit groups solely depend on donations to fulfill their missions. We try to support every eligible non-profit organization in our market each year with the dollars allocated within our budget,” says Rocco Del Vecchio, CEO, Merchants Bank.
“We are so grateful to Merchants Bank for funding SIZZLE! It is because of community partners like them that we are able to assist at-risk Easton Area School District students grades K-4 every summer by improving their reading skills and giving them a chance to succeed in school”, said Alison O’Connell, Development Director, ProJeCt.
