(Bangor, PA) Merchants Bank recently hosted a blood drive at their Forks Township Office for Miller-Keystone Blood Center.  The drive took place from 12 noon until 3pm on Thursday, May 7, 2009,  and was very successful,  with seven units of blood being donated on that day.  Merchants takes pride in sponsoring events for organizations such as the Blood Center, as part of their ongoing commitment to support the needs of the communities they serve.

“It was wonderful to see such a great turn out, especially for our first blood drive,” said Jerry Kardos, Branch Manager at Merchants Bank’s Forks Township Office.  “Hopefully this will become another great Merchants Bank tradition,” he added.
