February 2014 - Merchants Bank Donates $5,000 to The Children’s Home of Easton

 

The Children’s Home of Easton’s Executive Director, Gregg Dowty Ed.D accepts

an EITC check from Merchants Bank’s Vice President and Market Manager, Sandee Kennedy.

 

The Children’s Home of Easton recently received $5,000 from Merchants Bank through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). In support of the Children’s Home critical mission of supporting our youth; during the last twelve months Merchants Bank has donated $16,000 to the Children’s Home through the EITC.  The Children’s Home of Easton’s Executive Director, Gregg Dowty Ed.D, stated, “The support we receive from Merchants Bank through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program is critical to our work with the children in our care. With this help we are able to help youth gain skills beyond the regular classroom instruction.  As our youth begin transitioning to independence and adulthood, we want them to be prepared for the challenges they will face in the future.  This support allows us to better meet their needs and contributes to their future success.”
