Merchants Bank Makes $1,550 Donation To ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.

(Bangor, PA) Merchants Bank recently presented a check in the amount of $1,550 to ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.  The contribution was part of a two-year pledge that the Bank made in 2008 to support this organization.  Located in Easton, Pennsylvania, ProJeCt is a  non-profit agency that offers support services, emergency assistance, and educational programming to low-income children, adults, and families.  As a community Bank, Merchants takes pride in helping organizations such as ProJeCt fulfill their commitment to improving the lives of our friends and neighbors.

“It is Merchants Bank’s pleasure to help support the efforts of the ProJeCt of Easton,” said Diane M. Murphy, Vice President and Market Manager for Merchants.  “By working together we can make a difference in the lives of many individuals to help build a better community,” she added.

“More than 220 children started school ready to learn this September because of the ongoing support of Merchants Bank,” said Janice D. Komisor, Executive Director of ProJeCt of Easton, Inc.  “ProJeCt and these children are grateful for this generous commitment,” she added.
