Merchants Bank Makes $2,500 Donation
To The Children's Home of Easton

(Bangor, PA) Merchants Bank recently presented a check in the amount of $2,500.00 to the Children’s Home of Easton.   The contribution was the second installment of a two-year, $5,000.00 pledge made by the Bank.  Established in 1885 and located in Easton, Pennsylvania, The Children’s Home is a non-profit organization that provides programs and housing for children in need.  Their services include education, counseling, and recreation.  Merchants Bank takes pride in offering this financial support to The Home. As a community bank, established in 1890 and still locally owned and operated, Merchants is  dedicated to serving  the needs of our area.

“For well over a century The Children’s Home of Easton has been providing new foundations for needy children to build their lives upon,” said James L. Sampson, Jr., Senior Vice President of Lending at Merchants Bank. “Our Bank is pleased to honor its pledge to a local institution that for so many years has aided so many,” he added.
